Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)


Lavender is a universal oil that has traditionally been known to balance the body and to work wherever there is a need. If in doubt, use lavender. I have used lavender for burns, insomnia, bruises, cold sores, and blisters.


Lavender may help calm your insecurities or anxiety attacks. Lavender might even help support individuals in releasing the tension that comes from fear from expressing oneself.


When using essential oils please make sure you are using high quality, pure oils. Make sure that you use oils under the direction of someone who holds certificates either in aromatherapy or herbology.


Lavender oil can be used..

Aromatic.. Inhale directly from the bottle or place a few drops in your hands and cup over nose Inhale. You can also add a few drops into a diffuser.

Topically.. Place 1 to 3 drops over the throat, heart, behind the ears, on the bottoms of your feet. Dilute with a carrier oil if desired. If using for a burn, cut, cold sore place directly on the affected area.

Bath.. Add 3-5 drops into the bath water for a nice relaxing soak.
